Commentary:
Since 1973, worldwide, there have been over 43 million abortions, nearly 4,000 each day. Approximately 1,370,000 abortions occur annually in the United States.
For every 1000 live births, there are 306 abortions.
There are more than 140,000 second and third trimester abortions each year.
